Policy Page Completed

Today Susan V created the MCLD Policy Page within 24/7 Reference software. The policy page outlines MCLD-specific policies so that librarians outside of MCLD that are serving our customers have quick and easy access to information that will assist them in answering District-specific questions. The policy page includes statements such as where our databases are located, hours of operation, contact info, how to get a card, loan periods and limits, renewals, holds, fees and fines, interlibrary loan, obits requests, reading ebooks, computer use, and more. One of our concerns is that we'll have to remember to keep this page current. Additionally, MCLD librarians, when serving globally, will have to be able to access other libraries' policy pages. We take some comfort in knowing other libraries are doing this and it works.
